Congratulations to Sarah, our 2009 'Pink'tober lucky draw prize winner!
I was actually lucky enough to meet Sarah in 2004 during a shift in Box Hill hospital's Neurology Ward (Victoria, Australia). At the time, I was working three jobs to provide the funding for all NursesHEART's research, development and manufacturing. We seemed to click! I'm guessing because we are both highly motivated and happy people. It was a thoroughly refreshing 'collision' as she encapsulated the energy, enthusiasm and professionalism that NursesHEART was designed to nurture and cultivate. She was doing a post grad in neuroscience at the time and is now doing her masters and as if that's not enough, she's doing it with a gorgeous little boy running around under her feet!
She's quite a gal and a worthy recipient of our 'Pink'tober Prize. Nothing thrilled me more when her name came out of the hat!
